Wang Hong

An established violinist, Wang Hong is Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music. Holding multiple roles, Wang Hong is also a member of the China Musicians Association, Vice-Secretary of Violin Association in China and Executive at the China Chamber Music Association. Wang Hong has performed in countries such as Germany, Austria, Spain, Hong Kong and many others. He is also well versed in chamber music, and has played together with the Kodaly String Quartet and Bartok String Quartet in Hungary.

Professor Wang Hong’s pedagogic beliefs has shaped his teaching methods and produced many wonderful young violinists. His students has gone on to international competitions and successfully managed to achieve important prizes. They include- the 16th Andrea Postacchini Competition in Italy, 2011 & 2012 Hong Kong International Violin Competition, 2011 CCTV Violin Competition, Chengdu Violin Competition, 2014 International Queen Sophie Charlotte Violin Competition, the 2015 Kloster Schontal International Violin Competition and many others.

Professor Wang Hong is greatly sought after as an educator and as a jury for competitions.
